Seriously I have two mantras which I try to keep to, the first is "do as you'd be done by" and the other is "if at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again". Slurps coffee and slopes off to admire gins' garden
Hi Gins, I am having a ghastly time with fibro, in so much pain I don't know what to do with myself. However I am optimistic, I don't shut my curtains at night as I back onto a woodland and the first thing I see in the morning is the lovely trees and the squirrels chasing each other through the trees and the pigeons courting each other with their morning bows to each other. I listen to the birds singing and my mind settles into the beauty of life all around me, I wish my body would follow suit, hey ho can't have everything can we! I like Mantra's but have difficulty remembering them. Some of my favorites are:- "I am a petal in the devine Rose of love"! I also like this piece of wisdom " Whatever is happening in your life,
you can always choose to love,
you are always free to love,
this is the greatest freedom,
one that no-one can ever take away from you,
Simply Love"!
Hope you all have a lovely day< Gentle hugs and love to all!
Foggy the garden is still pretty awesome and gives such pleasure even when I only sit in it for half an hour a day. I think my mantra must be "A laugh a day keeps Fibro at Bay". Come and see my new lawn edges this way~~~~
Wish I'd popped in earlier, before I had a very ordinary tuna sandwich for lunch! My favourite saying is "Enjoy life (as much as you can), this is not a Rehearsal!" My bracketed insertion, considering where we all are ;-/
I alway say, laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone........also look on the brightside cos things could be worse, much worse.........Dee x
