Throat problem

Anyone know ? Feels like a lump in my throat difficulty swallowing liquid and food, throat sweets tryed everything nothing works even the liquid night nurse !! it makes me feel sick my throat feels dry and needing to swallow more than normal worse in mornings , lack of sleep not wanting to eat also a weird taste? Anyone help???? Thanks

I would definitely recommend a trip to your GP to be on the safe side.

However, there has been some proof that stress can cause a feeling of a lump in your throat. I get this feeling a lot. I've had a Gastroscopy and nothing has been found.

Do get it checked out though

Have you had your thyroid checked, i get that feeling at times due to under-active thyroid - soft hugs

No I haven't I've been 5 times to see the doctor had antibiotics nothing solved been referred to ENT clinic which should be 5 months from being referred but ongoing problem since July last year I hate it x

Doctors said can't do nothing else but have to wait 5 months till July this year to be seen 1 year is too much feeling like this

I just got checked out and doc told me it was just another symptom of my Fibro. He said my Fibro was really bad and there is not a lot they can do for it.

Tonsillitis definitely, I have just got over it, had it for 3 weeks there, exact same symptoms, felt like big lump in throat, horrible taste, kept being sick and bringing up pus, couldn't eat or drink as it was too sore, go to your gp fir anti biotics and it will go away in a few days 😊 xx

Have you had your B12 checked! Deficiency can cause cough and swallowing problems.

I am so genuinely sorry to read this, and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. You have received some wonderful replies already but I was wondering if you could be suffering from a side effects from one of your medications? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
