Sorry its under fibromyalgia mistery solved.xx
Don't understand , what is it.
They think they have found out at last what it is, so hopefully, cure is on its way it was published in the guardian last month. x
Here's the link:

The proper article is in the medical journal Pain Medicine (published by Wiley). I have had a look at it too. It's subscription only but I'm a university lecturer so have access. Not sure it helped though. I don't fully understand the medical jargon. The article itself is less definitive than the newspaper article. A study has been done looking at 24 women and they found an increase in blood vessels in the hands which may be a cause of fibromyalgia. I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet though as it was only a small study and they've still to look at men. Also, they're not as far as saying there's a cure for it.
Thank you, oh well at least we can hopeful that someone is trying to find something or anything useful about this horrible pain. x
That's a great article thanks for share , so maybe .............in 5/10yrs the uk doctors will believe this research and maybe a few will change thier attitudes towards fibro , and approx15 years....... it will spread uk wide ,just in time for my pension lol x
lol ehlers I agree!
i'm pleased that someone is looking for cure and the article is quite interesting but sadly I reckon it'll be a long time before we see any benefit from it.
At least some ones doing something x
I couldn't agree more hun x
after 20 years of pain and docs not having a clue a light however distant is a good one.
I only got diagnosed in april with fibro after 5 years of ruling out this and that but I also have hypermobility syndrome that I was born with apparently also diagnosed at the same time. i'd already been managing all my symptoms, of which there are many, so it was back to the norm. as you can imagine its disappointing not to hear well we can give you this or do that to help it go away!
tho I do have hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and am waiting to see neurologist AGAIN aswell as pain clinic for pain med review.
I would give my right arm for a cure jb1967 and wholeheartedly agree with you.
I love your positivity hun xxx
big hug
