Well what can I say I love it when I can find a group of like minded people who understand what I'm saying rather then getting glassed eyes or even rolling there eyes. I look forward to what this site may bring to me and me to it. :0)

Hi, it's fab to get support for like minded people, we will all understand I am sure....it's such an awful illness to get people to understand how ill you are feeling. This cold weather is horrible isn't it. I think loads of people are having a flare up at the mo!!! x

I have been suffering fm for years, but only got diagnosed last month,

I also suffer from really bad panic attacks too and severe depression

I hate not being able to do the simple things like taking the lid off the

kettle when I've struggled for 10 minutes to get downstairs.

Or getting to the toilet in time because I can't lift my leg over the cat and

wet myself. But most of all I hate the fact that until

My husband spoke to someone on the train that worked

in mental health, now believes that the panic attacks the depression

are all linked to the fm and not just me having a temper tantrum

Or being miserable .

Hi, I know exactly how you feel as I suffer from depression and panic attacks too. My GP put me on CITOLAPRAM which has help no end. It deals not only with the depression but also the anxiety that causes the panic attacks. If tour not already on an anti depressant I should ask you GP about this or similar. If you are maybe you need a change as it is obviously not working for you. good luck and gentle hugs :)

i suffered with severe depression and really bad panic attacks i was on citalopram for 2 years and was on like 40 tablets a day i come of all tablets and since coming off antidepressants i am more in control of my emotions again i used to cry at everything i don't now which is a relief let me tell you.but yes unfortunately fm does effect your emotions big time. i love having a sit i can rant and rave and moan on and you guys all get it its good to pass on tips too. i also suffer with ME,POTS,HYPERMOBILITY and ELHERS-DANLOS SYNDROME.
