Nose bleeds or is that just me?
Now that interesting!
I have also for the last year or so been having nose bleeds and just put them down to raised Blood pressure, yet found this isn't the case as when I had blood pressure checked it was OK. I just put it down to rising out of the chair quickly but it does it sometimes when I am in bed having my go to sleep read while waiting for all meds to kick in. So it is quite interesting to find out some one else has nose bleeds.
have either of you seem your GP about this ..... I have had fibro 23 years ... But I have never had a nose bleed in my life ... For which I am thankful ... But I would certainly get it checked out especially if you are having lots ... And I class one a day as lots ....
Good luck

Fibro doesn't cause nose bleeds, and neither does high blood pressure! Definitely get this checked as it could be a symptom of something serious, and in any case could lead to anaemia.
However ,the most likely cause of frequent nosebleeds is an inflamed area in the tissues of the nose. This is very easily treated - then you'll have no more problems!

I agree you must get checked out.
I have recently been getting them but only lightly but I know it's medication causing then. It's nasal sprays and as they are steroids if they hit the thinner interior of the nasal passages they just make them thinner causing them to bleed.
I'm having a CT scan on my sinuses in a couple of weeks just to check if theres any blockage or unusually large openings in the sinuses to cause me problems..... I have lost my sense of smell
Go see your GP as any underlying cause must be ruled out. My OH gets nose bleeds all the time but it can only be attributed to him damaging his nose years ago and has damaged the lining of his nose. It's possible there is no cause, but if you are having them regularly you need to get yourself checked. Xx (((hug))
I have Fibro only finally been diagnosed but have the symptoms for years, but never in my life had a nose bleed.
I would advice see your gp, my daughter used to get them but out grew them after her teens and my MIL used to get really bad ones and became anaemic, she had weak vessels in her nose and had to have them cauterised, after a couple of days in hospital, she was fine and never had them again, but it could be something more serious, so please see your gp asap (if you haven't already) best of luck
I have had nose pain and swelling(of bones?)fro about 16 months.finally got dr to arrange ENT appt.saw a consultant ,had ct scan awaiting results.not heard anything yet.have had nosebleeds for a couple of weeks (left side of nose)and congestion on right side.every time I blow my nose it bleeds or produces mucus.could be a symptom of lupus.
also have scalp condition where patches appear in some hair follicles and they sting and bleed forming a crust and my stomach is even more swollen now with more weight loss in my legs and arms.coughhas reappeared and concerned now cos my throat /neck is really tight and lumpy.
