Hello mazzer2, your question is yes you can work while on DLA and qualify for it, as its not means tested. Please just make sure that when you get the forms through that you don't fill them out on your own all the questions are trick ones! If you are over 50 you can ring up Age Concern and they will come to your home and help you with the form if you are younger then CAB will help you. If you fail first time as most of us have then appeal. Good luck and let me know how you got on, Take Care Love Aisha x

Ha! When I asked Age concern about helping me fill in my forms I was told they are not able to do this!! Luckily I have a wonderful lady from the welfare rights department of my local council. She is absolutely marvellous! And I'm over 50!! XX

Hi Sue32, I don't know where you live but I live on the Isle of Wight and our local council are not very helpful and we don't have any people from the Welfare rights that helped me out or anyone else all we have is Age concern or CAB!! I'm glad you got the help you needed

Yes you can and if you would like the free help sheets

If you email

Info@fibroaction.org with the heading benefits

Mdaisy will send to out all the sheets to help with filling in the forms

Will do vg....thaks for the info.maryx

The answer simply to your question is yes .... just fill in the form truthfully and in has much detail has is required even if you need to use separate sheets of paper to explain what you are going through alot of how you feel and what you need is not on the form .

Keep note of what you have said .

Take your time even if you have to answer just a few questions a day within your time limit .

Hope this helps

Kind regards
