Morning Debs
Sounds like you have had one of those slow nights. I am sure you have tried this but I get up come down stairs have a warm drink read abook for a bit then a couple of paracetamols (isf your med regime allows them) back upstairs and try and relax. Breath slowly concentrating on some warm far away place that you fancy go to and hopefully you will drop off. If not get up have a shower and start the day early Hope that helps it sometimes works for me xgins
Morning Debs what gins says is a good idea, magnesium-B may help yur twitchy legs wich could be what they call restless egs syndrome which goes with fibro, also a nice cup of warm milk at bedtime sometime helps as milk contains serotonin which elopes the brain, but whatever way u try good luck and hope it works gentle hugs Dee xx
Sorry about the misspelling seems like I have left off letters lol my fibro fog brain this morning, sorry but I'm sure u know what I mean lol, if not ask me, there'd shoud read helps the brain lol
I eat a banana a day for leg cramps , for restless twitching legs lots of people on here have said put a bar of soap in the bed ... Not sure how it works but have seen it posted on here quite a few times so it must work for some
Not being able to sleep is so common for so many of us ... I don't know if you are taking any meds ... But I do take night meds at 10pm every night 75 mg of dosulepin prescribed by my GP and 0.5mg clonezapam prescribed by my consultant at the pain clinic where I get my injections and those combined give me 7 hours straight sleep practically every night.... It's taken a long time to find this combination that suits me ... But i have been taking them for nearly 2 years now and everything looks better after a nights sleep so please don't give up... Go to your GP and see if you can find a med or combination that works for you

I'm a great fan of dosulepin, too - it's the only thing that helps me to sleep.
The trouble is, it works so well that I tend to sleep later than I should, so I miss a dose if I have to be up early for any reason. Then I don't sleep much at all, but I seem to be able to manage with a few sleepless nights.
