Morning gins..... Naughty girl... What were you lifting ...... No lifting with chostochondritis .. I don't even carry a handbag anymore it sets it off I have it constantly to some degree

I hope that's all it is and you haven't done something else. At least with chostochondritis. You know it will eventually go or settle down to manageable pain.. Get that Dr in...

the doc came he was charming gave me a prescription for gaviscon I said I reckoned it was related to my back because of the pain at the back and around my ribs to my sternum. Suggessted I try pregablin instead of tegratol but as I pointed out they are from the same stable so why have the hastle of coming of one and starting the other when I am happy on tegratol. He seemed amazed when I thanked him for his visit. Oh well quite day for me :) xgins

Glad you got it sorted .. And a GP who was willing to come out.... How nice to hear that

Hi,

I have Fibro. and costochronditis. I both hate knowing other people have both conditions, and find some releaf in knowing I am not alone.

Does it go away? What drugs if any ease it?'.

Please don't tell me you can get it elsewhere.

I find this site somewhat reassuring, as I have several itisses, and it is kind of good to know I am not going out of my mind, when different things cause me pain.

I am not on any meds for the costo. I use a whirlpool bath to relieve pain. Or massage.

I also have diverticulitis, which is not going away. I am using fod as a medicine, and doing research into that.
