Hi
I am confused by your question what did CAB say
Have u any income? partner in work ? These would affect C Tax benefits I would go back to the advice centre good luck
Hi, dillm Cab helped me fill out my ESA50 form but after looking at some tips on how you should and shoudnt write on the form and how many points you can get I feel that some of the answers she wrote are not correct. The council know our circumstances but they have said that I should return the esa form to Council Tax and they will scan it and send it onto ESA!!! Aisha
Hi there really don't know but what I do know is the Citizens advice in your area can help you fill them in and word things correctly this will help support your claim.
So sorry ready your question a little wrong id have thought that it would be fine but if your unsure your local law centre may be able to help to. And also what question and why are you left feeling so unsure.
Sorry fibro foggy today also check out Benefit and Work website
I found my welfare rights lady from the local council was fantastic. She helped me with all my claim forms, took them all with her and posted them herself!! I keep in contact with her as I know I'll have more forms to fill in no doubt!! XXXX
Remember to include every appointment you have ever had (I had about 300 pages) and get supporting medical letters from consultants and your GP. Send all medical letters of relevance (I had about 100). Then make sure it is all secure... mine was so large I punched holes and then used string to tie it together. Make sure you send it RECORDED delivery and then write a note to your DWP office stating that you have sent your ESA50 by recorded delivery to ATOS and you have attached a copy of the delivery slip for their records. I used the Post Office copier and took a staple with me so that I could staple it to the letter at the counter because I sent the DWP letter recorded delivery too. This way neither can say they didn't receive it, or that it got lost ( which it often does ).
You can also do fill in the form electronically on the benefits forum and print it out. This way you can keep going back to make changes before printing. Then make sure you have copy of EVERYTHING. I didn't send original letters only COPIES. I scanned everything I sent so I have a record.
