Pip, capita assessor, form recieved

Capita have recieved pip form, what's the next process how long can it usually take. They recieved my form yesterday

Hi, with what's going on in the world right now I'm presuming you may be in for a longer than normal wait. I hope not but waiting times for a f2f before was quite long for many before these difficult times xx

hmmm, capita received my PIP form last year! im bored phoning them now, they say in my area they haven't started doing telephone assessments as yet so its gonna be a long wait i think! good luck xx

Hi Gg4l, just made a post about this also as my pip claim renewal runs out end of April . I sent my pip form off a few weeks ago & had text message saying they received it a few days later this was just before the world went crazy. This evening at 7.30pm had a call from pip & after giving my insurance number & waiting 8 minutes he hung up on me . I Phoned back & said lines closed at 8pm so I’d imagine that’s why he hung up on me lovely man. How rude without telling me 😮

Next stage is usually a face-to-face Disability assessment but due to Coronavirus telephone assessments are being done instead. It can take 3 months or so before they contact you.

I sent my forms back 3 weeks ago and had my phone medical 2 weeks after, I think each area is taking different times due to this virus, I believe the lady who did my home medical was possibly working from home as the phone call was at 7.55am and lasted well over an hour. I then received a text on Monday saying they had now received my medical forms and it is with the decision maker which can take up to 3 month's

Thanks 🙏 .... I sent my form back about 4 weeks ago .... & a telephone interview for over an hour wow 😮 I’m dreading that one !! Also thought they shut the lines at 8pm so to have you on the phone after 9pm would be so hard for me as don’t sleep so a daunting time of night for me. Hi I’m dreading my call & an hour talking is so long for me as have COPD so get so breathless talking 5 minutes although an hour. Hope all goes well for you love K4ttt xx

I also have chronic COPD im on 12 weeks shut down after getting a letter from the nhs , not even allowed to sit in my garden the letter says as my copd is so severe, I dont think that will matter with your phone call as alot of the replies are yes no sometimes, type questions

Hey I’m so worried even though I shouldn’t be as my heath is not good & we all shouldn’t be going through this especially at this time with what’s going on! From exsperiance it can take a while if u have had an assessment with a health care professional they will then make a disision and will let u no the out come and also tell u if u are going to get it and when could take a couple of months

Yes my 3 years are due next at the end of the day u would think u should get it back but a friend of mine was given it for life but they took it off her she did challenge the disision and got it back I would do the same I was given pip for my fibro and since have a number of health issues they tell u to let them no of any changes I have done and heard nothing hope u get on OK please let me no the outcome good luck

Hi Tiny thanks so much & yes I’ve been to two tribunals now & last one they put me up too high rate on both, the judges there all decided in my favor so if need will but with what’s going on at the moment are they even doing tribunals I don’t know 🤷‍♀️?? I have Copd & fibromyalgia both 10 years now & doesn’t get better so why on earth can’t they see that puzzles me as such a waste of time & Money & so so stressful for us all . I’m waiting now most probably this coming week to a nightmare telephone interview which lasts an hour omg 😮 this is not good for my body as last night worst no sleep & pain due to worrying about loosing my lifeline as before this was housebound for 3 years.
