Bonjour I am back having survived not fallen in the water and narrowly missed crashing the boat it was .......................

Totaly amazing no bending no house work just gently days bobbing a long watching for birds and wild life. Did not meet any other English people the entire time we were there infact we did not meet many people at all.

I am now a fully qualified Captain as I successfully manoovered through many many locks ( I just sat up top and steered ) I loved it.

The worse bit was the taxi to and from the airport the roads were horrid so bumpy- we think ours are bad we know nothing.!

How is every one I hope you are all Ok and not suffering too much at the moment?

So there we go something I thought I would not ever achieve but I did with help from my friends and brilliant assistance at te air ports who instantly provided wheel chairs for me and whisked me through to planes and through customs etc I did have to be serched twice yes full body at Southampton but better safe than sorry.

Do you look like a potential smuggler in rl.... I had you pictured as a mild manner sweet lady.... Or were you influenced by moffy in trying to bring back too much Duty free gin for her

Guys would you believe the first time they searched their own wheel chair it was very strange! Bless you my parrot was in my bag he could not hold on any longer after I clipped his toe nails.! You can have him back Moffy but please come aND get him or I think hewill be lost trying to fly to you ! Unfortunately both searches were by by a really charming girl who was more embarrassed than me...........xgins

Happy landing gins welcome home ! Glad you had a good time and now wearing appropriate headwear its incredible how efficient airports can be with assisting people with mobility problems, not that I have had it, but a friend did and we were first on board and last off, but that didn't matter. I hope you had good weather, it was about the only time we had a bit of more seasonal weather here, before plummeting back into winter....had sleety stuff here this morning eeeekkk, mid May ???
