Ovaleap vs Gonal-F+Luveris

Hi All!

Just about to start the stimulation phase of my second round of IVF. This time through the NHS. My first was through a private clinic in March 2024. I have stage 4 endometriosis, during my first round it was untreated. I had excision surgery in December 2024 to remove 2 large cysts on my ovaries (one was 5cm and the other 8cm) and separate them (as they were kissing). Just wondering if anyone noticed a difference between the medication offered by private clinics in comparison to the NHS?

I was on a high dose of Ovaleap last year at the private clinic (I can’t remember the exact amount… but it was over 300) but was slow to respond, most likely due to the untreated endometriosis and low AMH. My BMI at that time was 32 but I have now got it down to 25 for NHS treatment. My AMH is currently 6. During that round I only had 2 eggs retrieved, both poor quality, both didn’t fertilize ☹️

The NHS has me on Gonal-F 450IU and Luveris 75IU. Did anyone else see a better response on this medication?

Hi. Gonal F is commonly used medication favoured by many private clinics as well as NHS
