Low Stim FET protocol, follicles growing but lining stalled, can it catch up?

EDIT: My clinic called to cancel the scan tomorrow, my doctor saw the scan images and is happy to go ahead with FET with lining at 7.2 mm. Any success stories at this thickness? I'm so nervous 🙏🏼✨

Hi all l, I'm prepping for a FET and wonder if anyone can advise.. I'm doing a low stims protocol so on 75iu of Pergoveris. I had a scan on Monday, day 8, and follicles were 13 mm, lining getting there at 7mm.

This was looking good, I started cetrotide to prevent ovulation and continued on the pergoveris. This morning (Thursday, day 11) I had another scan as it was hoped I'd trigger this evening. My follicles have continued to grow, now at 17 mm, but my lining hadn't shifted at all, it's exactly the same!

I actually had slightly thicker lining on a natural transfer last year with no stims.

I'm feeling frustrated and a bit disappointed that things haven't progressed as expected as they were so sure I'd transfer next Thursday.

Has anyone experienced this? I don't know why the follicles are growing but lining stalled!

Thank you 🙏🏼 🙏🏼

Hopefully your lining will have increased as the follicle growth is good These two usually go hand in hand Maybe try some gentle exercise [walking - swimming - cycling ] as this is thought to increase pelvic blood flow Also it seems pomegranate juice is thought to increase blow flow to the womb - this may help the lining to thicken up

Thanks Janet, I'll get some pomegranate juice, and have also added vitamin E.

Hi Coming up Roses, although it was a fresh transfer and not a FET, I had a successful pregnancy with a lining of 7.1mm so it can happen!

Thanks so much for replying Axel, that's really good to know. Actually though, my transfer has been cancelled.. not because of thin lining but because I started spotting this morning and fluid is now showing. So a low stim cycle clearly not for me! Oh what a ride this journey is 😔Hope you're faring well ✨

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, it's so frustrating. I had a FET cancelled when it was fully medicated because my body just doesn't respond to oestrogen. A modified natural is ok but I struggle to get the lining to 7mm so for me the mild stim worked best in terms of lining sadly the last transfer didn't work but the mild stim has been suggested for the next one. It's just funny how we all respond so differently to things. I really hope you can get back on track next month and it goes smoothly for you xx
