So had my day 9 scan on my first round of Stims yesterday. Was so anxious incase they weren’t doing anything! I had 10 follicles in total at this stage. They were 16mm, 14, 14, 12, 12, 12, 10, 10, 8, 8. Have another scan tomorrow and this will show if I need a few more days to grow or not so egg retrieval on Friday or Monday.
My question is are these follicles truly encouraging? Do other people have similar numbers/sizes at this stage?
Thanks 🙏🏼

Hey Ms Luna,Yes, they do seem just fine at 9th days of stims, also good number of them. Mine were slow recently, on the same day as yours: 13, 11, 10, 10, 10, and 9. Also have a look at my previous one fresh IVF cycle, attached as a picture, day 9 as well. Much more size spread than in your case and they managed to collect only 4.
If they will keep growing around 2mm a day you should have an egg retrieval this Friday!
Thank you 😊 I have my scan at 8am tomorrow so will be interesting to see how much they’ve grown! I saw that you have low AMH like myself, can I ask what your AMH level is? X
Mine is 2.8pmol/L. This is my one and only cycle for the time being. I only found out I had low AMH in October and then I became single so I’m doing this to try and get some embryos to freeze in case I run out of time x
I have learnt from here that AMH is just a number and it might not mean anything. But I think it's really wise what you are doing, and wish you all the luck that you will become a MAMA one day ❤❤❤
So I had 11 follicles ( a new little one appeared) I’ve got one at 19 and a good few hovering around 17/16/15 so I’m carrying on for a few more days rather than trigger tonight! Have a scan on Friday afternoon to make sure all good. Then will be trigger Saturday evening ready for egg collection Monday 🙏🏼 X
