Chronic Endometritis

Has anyone successfully treated persistant chronic endometritis? I have had three rounds of antibiotics followed by vaginal and oral probiotics. Just had a third biopsy yesterday and wondering what on earth to do if it's positive again.

Thanks xx

Hi lovely, which brands of probiotics have you been taking?

I have been on ecocillin vag pessaries and ultrabiotic 60 oral capsules. I'm in Aus so the oral capsules may only be available here however the pessaries come from Europe x

Hi dear, I hope your results come back negative.I had two unsuccessful rounds of antibiotics and managed to fix it with a very strong doze of ibuprofen.

Fingers crossed for you!

I was recommend to treat the endometrial inflammation using an anti-inflammatory, Ibuprufen (together with a gastric protector), for 14 days

Ibuprofen 600 mg 1 box, 1 tablet every 8h for 14 days.

1 Omeprazole 20 mgrs 1 box 1 tablet every day for 14 days

Thank you so much, I'll give that a try. Glad it worked for you xx

I am on my second round of antibiotics, but my gynae only prescribed a 7 day course for the first round, I persuaded her to do 14 days this time - is that the length of time recommended? I will try the Nurofen 14 days if it doesn't work.

Hi, I was on 7 days of a strong antibiotic. I asked my dr about the nurofen and he said no, he wants to do and ema and Alice to pinpoint which bacteria is causing it and then treat accordingly with the right antibiotics. Otherwise he said he's just throwing things at me in hopes they work. It's so frustrating! I've gone to my acupuncturist who has given me Chinese herbs for it but Im thinking of trying the nurofen anyway as I don't see any harm in trying. Good luck x
