Help! Almost fainted doing cetrotide

hi all,

I’ve just started my third round of stims, last one was in 2022. I just started cetrotide this morning and nearly blacked out. Had to really focus to finish the shot and get back upstairs to my husband — had patchy vision, ringing in my ears, the lot.

Is this unusual? my clinic is closed today cus it’s new years day otherwise i’d call but I’m now feeling highly anxious about doing the one tmr and my stims tonight!

Happy New Year to you! OK Lola, I got you! I get some ice and and completely numb the skin before putting the needle in. You won't feel a thing if you keep pressing the ice on long enough. It may not get rid of your phobia but it does help a lot.

I poke them in my skin now no probs, but at first it was not good! Best of luck to you!
