Meriofert 900iu - is it usual to have 100iu extra in each packet?

I am trying to work out if I had gone wrong somewhere in my dosages. I am currently on stims.

I have managed to eek out 8 doses of 375iu ( in total x 8 = 3000iu) meriofert from 3 packets of 900 iu (in total 2700iu). In total that's an extra 300iu in 3 packets or 100iu extra per pack of meriofert.

I can't work out if I have made a mistake in my stim meds dosage, or if they have an extra 100iu in every packet.

Has anyone else had this experience? and if so do you know how much - does about100iu per packet seem about right?

I am hoping I am right in assuming if meriofert include extra for the spillage then the actual dosage of powder mixed into the solvent is 1000iu to account for this extra liquid.

Might be an idea to discuss your concerns about meds with your clinic Take it you responded well to this protocol during treatment - lining thicken and ovaries produced follicles Remember if ever unsure of meds / what to do next/ drawing up meds just ask your clinic to explain it to you again

I know gonal f definitely has extra in the pens so I would imagine it’s the same for other drugs too but couldn’t say for sure!

I was having 450 dose of meriofert so only had 2 doses from the 900 box and always had some leftover (for spillages etc) 👍

Hi there,

I think there’s some extra in each one as I always ended up with some left over despite drawing up the exact amount from a Meriofert 900iu.

I was worried too but there were no issues with my response so I just assumed it was correct!
