Prontogest Tips

hi ladies, I’ve had my 4th transfer today. Slight change to my medication + need to do 1 x prontogest injection daily.

I’m feeling super nervous as the needle is huge + my VERY needlephobe husband is going to have to do them for me.

hello Thierry101 💛 I’ve been on daily prontogest and here’s a few things that helped me:

- Warming the vial in my hand before injecting (15-20 mins) - this helped with making the PIO easier to inject

- Lightly massaging the injection site for a couple of minutes after the injection

- Moving/walking after getting the injection

Hi. You poor thing, that’s not nice. Two things. You could try letting an ice cube melt on the spot you could ask a pharmacist or doctor for lignocaine gel to put in a blob for 20 minutes them wipe off and inject slowly. Needle in slowly, push plunger slowly, and pull out slowly. Good luck. Diane

good luck with your transfer💕. I am going to be using Probtogest also after hopefully my next transfer🙏. I have to do them myself so very nervous about being able to reach etc!

I was wondering what dose are you on daily please? Also what time of day as I keep reading some ladies are using in the am and some are at night? Thank you and lots of luck x

Oh bless you, you should be able to using a mirror. But definitely harder than the others!

I held an icepack on the area first which I think helped!

We are doing at 7pm, it’s a bit stingy afterwards so better than starting the day with that!
