Has anyone had success with Prontogest as well as cyclogest? I've seen a few things on my clinic forum suggesting it increases success rates. Not sure to ask for it when I have my FET in July.

Hello lovely,

I was on both prontogest and cyclogest during my successful cycle.

Initially, I was given Prontogest every other day - at some point of pregnancy (I can’t really remember what week) my progesterone decreased and I was given it daily.

I stopped all medications cold turkey at 12 weeks and I have a wonderful healthy boy.

Good luck!! 💙💙💙

Thanks for your response. Did you have an unsuccessful cycle without it or was it your first? xx

I’m on first frozen transfer and day 7 today, my pregnancy test is on Monday 27th.

I just wanna say.. I know you had prontogest injection.. which I’m taking that too every after 3 days. Does it help? And will it be successful? And also I’m taking cycologest 3 times a day and estrogen twice a day aswel

I hope and pray I should get positive news on Monday 🙏🏻. I had no symptoms at all just one side cramps feeling on Tuesday just few 2nd then stopped.

Hello Humz-1234 first of all, GOOD LUCK!!! I am crossing everything for you 💙💙💙

I was on a very similar protocol: cyclogest pessaries + prontogest + oestrogens patches.

My transfer was successful so I guess in my case, prontogest helped! Even when my progesterone levels decreased, the clinic increased the number of injections and everything went smoothly after that.

I obviously can’t say whether your transfer will be successful or not, all I can say is I am sending you loads of positive energy and I hope you’ll have a successful outcome! Baby dust coming your way 💙

Thank you so much hun and hopefully fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I had my blood test result before my frozen transfer day and they said my progesterone low that why they said I have to do prontogest injection every after 3 days - when my transfer start so yeah x

hi, I was on prontogest. My levels are low even on lubion daily and 2 pessaries daily so on my successful cycles, we used the Prontogest instead. A bit more expensive and very painful! I am 15 weeks now and I still have the bruises on my bum from it! You have been warned 😀. It’s not pretty! Also had a frozen cycle. Best of luck!

Ouch! Did you do the injections yourself on your bum? And congratulations xx

God no! My vet did it on days when my husband was away :) He was very amused and even brought me a treat for afterwards. Try and keep the vial warm (not hot) alternate sides and apply pressure and massage the area so no bumps. If you are on clexane and aspirin- it will bleed just a little bit more.

Best of luck my lovely xx

Did you have to do it every 4 days or daily? I'd be doing it myself so I would be very nervous about it xx

everyday. My hip skin I suppose is tough. After all these years so I could do it myself and I did once or twice. But the correct way is Pointy Finger on hip bone and where your thumb falls is the spot you want to inject. It’s a small spot to keep injecting over 3 months My husband was actually doing it my bum muscle and it was fine..more fleshy in my case. I don’t think you will be able to see that far behind so will have to do it on the back of your hip..very very painful… can we get someone to help you?

Ahhh I don't know. Maybe lol I think I'd have to get a friend but it's not realistic every day for that long. I haven't been told that I'd need it but also I see a lot of positives from people who do take it xx
