Mine was also taken on the day - again so they could decide whether to increase my progesterone from just Cyclogest (pessaries) to include Prontogest (jabs) also. X
mine was taken day of transfer and then could be adjusted if needed but required me going in the day after transfer, so I would rather do it day before.
Hi! I asked them to take the progesterone both two days before and on the day of the transfer. It was on the low side both times despite them increasing my dose on the day before transfer, so they ended up tripling it in the end. This transfer was my successful one and I think the progesterone increase had a lot to do with it. Very best of luck!
They checked my progesterone levels every second day before transfer, I agreed with my doctor I would have to get to a certain level before transfer if I did not they would have to delay transfer. I was on the maximum dosage as I was almost 40. Successful on that attempt I have an 8 month old girl. Be direct with them progesterone levels impact success.
