Hi Gem, I have always tested day of transfer but I have see ladies test the day before. I think either is OK as long you can then adjust or add meds if needed. I actually forgot to ask for it this round and they asked me to come in the day after to do it, and it turned out my levels were very low so they added 2 Lubion a day... I ended up getting my first BFP so goes to show that even though I course corrected a day late it was still OK. Wishing you all the best.
My Dr tested my progesterone levels 2 days prior to fet. It needed adjusting. He tested again on transfer day and again it needed adjusting and this time I was taken off the 3 x Lubion + 4 x cyclogest daily! And put on 1 x prontogest progesterone in oil shot daily + 3 x cyclogest daily. He then tested 2 days later and was happy with the result. He always got me to take the blood exactly 2 hours after my injection to get an accurate reading xx
My clinic agreed to do it 1 day before. Test should come back on transfer day so we can increase if needed.
Hi Gem,I'm booked in for my next frozen transfer and my clinic are testing me the day before. They have added in an extra Progesterone injection this time round as they said my levels were on the low side last time round. Wishing you the very best of luck xx
Good luck!!! I now have mine booked in two days before to be safe.
My progesterone was 125 on Saturday and today was my transfer. It’s dropped to 93. They have asked me to start taking 4*pessaries or an extra injection. Already take 1 progesterone injection. I went with the pessaries, as I had some left from the last round, but worrying it won’t be enough. Should I have gone with the additional injection? Back on Friday for another blood test, but is it to late?
