Endometrial scratch after failed transfer

Hi all, gearing up for another transfer (will be my 4th so 🤞). I had a failed fresh transfer last month, so have had my artificial bleed, and due to have an endo scratch this cycle, before starting FET meds at the start of my first natural cycle. Any one else who has done this? Ie had the endo scratch before 1st natural cycle? Just wondering if I should have waited an extra month (so I’d have had the first natural cycle before the endo scratch, but timing wise I’m keen to try again asap.) x

Hi there, I've had an endo scratch this time and it was in the cycle with no medication, in between our last FET and our current FET. I don't think you should have waited any extra time. There was no mention of that to us. Hope it goes well and makes a difference for the both of us! 🤞 (Take plenty of painkillers because the scratch hurts 🙄 but it's over quickly) xxx

Hi. Make dure you have regular sex evert three days, or more often if you want. Hopefully your Fallopian tubes are ok. Good luck with the scratch. Diane

Hi, I had something similar. Hrt cycle for scratch and then transfer with my next natural cycle. I was on estrogen tablets and then added progesterone. After a few days I had the scratch. My menstrual bleed was about a week or so after stopping progesterone and was very light. I then had the transfer following my own ovulation which was at the usual time. It was my very first positive test. Not sure if it was the scratch or just a better embryo. The scratch itself was particularly painful. No sedation offered. I have a narrow and kind of weird shaped cervix which made things worse.
