Hi, can anyone please let me know in your experience with IVF, if an embryo transfer is better (more successful) fresh or frozen? I am currently looking for a clinic abroad and Dependant what clinic/country I speak to they all have different ways/preferences.UK - Fresh
Czech- Fresh
Greece-Frozen
it really is hard to find anything out
Thanks x

This is, of course, only anecdotal, but as someone with Stage IV endo, my fresh transfer didn't work and my FET did (I am now 35 weeks). I don't have stats or medical evidence to offer, but I did feel like my body was a little more "rested" before the natural modified FET than after the egg retrieval, which might have helped?
My clinic wanted me to down-regulate for at least a month or two on the progesterone-only pill before the FET to help with the endo, but in the end we didn't do it because of scheduling issues, and it still worked. My FET was exactly a month after the fresh transfer failed.
One thing I would make sure is to ask the clinics whether the advice they give you is their generic advice or if it is endo-specific. Some clinics have more experience dealing with endo patients; for instance I was followed in a pluri-disciplinary centre in France focused on endometriosis rather than in a fertility clinic, so every treatment was tailored around the condition.
