urine infection : hi all ! I I’m... - Fertility Network UK
urine infection
Hi please don’t worry as this is more common than we know, and won’t affect your embryo, neither will the antibiotics. Keep up with all prescribed medications including folic acid and vitamin D. Drink lots of water to keep your urine plentiful and clear and pale. Avoid constipation. Good luck. Diane
Hi, I haven't been on them around transfer but I have during early pregnancy. Just make sure the antibiotics are safe for during early pregnancy x
Hey Thom - I'd also highly recommend taking pre and probiotics to help boost your system if you don't do this already. If you can find some probiotic pessaries (like hens teeth to get in the UK but if you're in EU or further afield they seem easier to access) then I'd do that too. Hopefully will clear up soon xx
Hi there, I got an uti 2 days before my transfer and started antibiotics the day before the transfer. Currently almost 16 weeks pregnant. Never been this far. Part off me wonders if the antibiotics helped get me to this point. Some people do have them added to their treatment protocol. Good luck and feel better xx
