I had a fresh egg transfer of an early blastocyst and had my blood test yesterday. Results today show a low Hcg level of 13 (day 28 of my cycle). Is it likely going to result in a bio chemical pregnancy/miscarriage? This is my third transfer and my first transfer resulted in a bio chemical

Low HCG after FET
Hi there, how many days after transfer are you today? X
1st July was my transfer date
I did test a few days ago though and the test said not pregnant and today it says 1-2 weeks pregnant
It feels quite low but a repeat test will tell you more. Are they testing you again, ideally within 48-72 hours?
the test was Friday
I hope it goes up as it should x
Do you know if utrogestan will delay the miscarriage? I’m still waiting on my second blood test results so they want me to stay on utrogestan until we receive them
Yes, in that it often delays the bleeding after a biochemical as it keeps your hormones high and maintains the lining when naturally the hormones would likely have dropped. You normally get the bleed a few days after you stop the meds. But clinics ask you to keep taking the meds until they're certain it isn't viable which makes sense as there is always a chance.
Thanks! I get the impression they are pretty certain it’s a chemical so frustrating me that it’s delaying everything once again 😩
My NHS clinic didn't do bloods and as soon as the lines were a bit lighter they said stop the meds whereas my private clinic and GP wanted a negative pregnancy test or for me to get bloods done and see them fall dramatically before stopping. It's frustrating but just given there's a small chance things could work out I think it's the safest decision and you won't always be wondering what if.
