We are 13dp5dt.
Our HCG is 34.7.
We had a HCG blood test at 11 days post transfer and it was 33.6.
Is this a chemical?
What should I expect now?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

hey lovely
Sorry you are going through this. Looks like could be a chemical or worse case poss ectopic? I would think with a chemical HCG would go down. Or honestly it could be totally fine and viable! It’s gone up which is a good thing.
Is your clinic going to do another blood test in a few days?
Hi Bethany. Is this your test day recommended by your clinic. If not carry on with any prescribed medication and test on the correct day. Bit early yet to write it off. Good luck. Diane
It should really be doubling every 2 or 3 days at this stage, and low or sporadic HCG happened to me 3 times and not a good outcome for those unfortunately. But I did spend hours every time on this forum and online looking for hope and there were stories of late implanters and slow starters that worked out. Can your clinic or GP give you some support? Normally they say carry on with the meds and test again in a few days or a week as there is always a chance. But also if when you get it retested it's still not really going up, or it's doing it sporadically, then they should go through your options and what to watch out for. But I know how stressful this will be for you right now and it's an awful limbo x
Thank you for the message. I’ve contacted the clinic and they’ve advised for me to test again next week. So we can see where we’re at. I just would love to know why this has happened. I have had a chemical pregnancy last time too. I assume they don’t know why, it’s just something we’ll have to work through and try again.
It's a horrible wait, and there's not much anyone can do. If it helps in any small way, I had two in a row on back to back fresh transfers, then the next one (a FET) the following month was fine. They couldn't tell me why the first two hadn't progressed, and my consultant even said I should see it as an encouraging sign and my body would get there eventually when all the conditions were right. But it's very hard to see it like that while it's happening x
Hi Bethany, I'm in a similar situation and wondering how you got on?
