This is my first cycle of IVF and I’m on day 5 of my cycle and day 4 of taking Gonal F. Due to begin Ganerelix tomorrow and to go for my first scan Thursday.
I’m finding in the evenings I begin to feel very full and strange in my ovary’s, a bit watery perhaps. Have other people found this during this early stage ?
I felt this last night but felt pretty good all day so though not so much of this until now…
I would like to hear if anyone has found this themselves?
I’m a bit paranoid in nature and stupidly googled it and now I’m worried about the symptoms of overstimulation.
Thanks in advance x

It’s normal to feel full around ovaries due to medication how ever it’s more normal to feel it around the egg collection.
Every cycle is different but I would recommend drinking 2-3 liters of water throughout the day helped me a lot to avoid OHSS so stick to that and don’t do exercise or stretching that puts pressure around lower abdomen or twists it.
Update, for anyone else too if they experience similar symptoms early on and need some thoughts… for me it turned out that I was really dehydrated (et88 you were spot on with your advice!) !!! I spoke to the nurse and she was amazing with her guidance and advice, and I felt so much better after paying more attention to my water intake. Yesterday I had my first scan and all going to plan so far with no hyper stimulation at all. Phewwwwww ☀️
