Day 5 update - 4th collection, 42 years old still trying!

Hello lovely friends. For those of you following my journey or in a similar position or age range I thought I'd share an update on my recent round. Check my recent posts for the whole rollercoaster lol

We've got a 4BB in the freezer after my freeze cycle and 5th stims cycle (one cancelled collection) at 42 🎉🥂💪🏼🙏🥰

Despite having 8 follicles all the way through, we collected 5 and then 2 fertilised.......the numbers sure do drop quickly and it never gets easier! I had a choice to transfer both on day 3 (as they were 10 cell grade 1) or hold my nerve and try and get at least one to blast - due to my post receptive era results.

After a nerve wracking weekend I decided to hold and try and get to blast so that I could transfer at the correct time as per my era.

Thank goodness one made it! I'm so relieved. I know 1 embryo might seem low to some people but after the numbers kept dropping, I am so grateful for a shot. I also kept a 2bb in the freezer from a previous round so I can just hope and pray.

Now they've just gotta be genetically normal and implant.......still seems impossible for me considering I never have any luck but I'll have everything crossed!
