I took Igennus vesisorb ubiquinol - quite cheap online. Have just seen it's only 100mg whereas everyone has been talking about 600mg, but I got all to blast on that so if it didn't help it didn't do any harm!

I'm currently taking 400mg (2x200mg) coq10 from Holland and Barratt and my prenatal supplement Ovum has 200mg of Coq10 so a bit of a mixture, however the Coq10 from Holland and Barratt does say Ubiquinone, I spent over £100 on them so im taking them! And the body converts to Ubiquinol anyway, egg maturity has also been an issue for me and I'm hoping to speak to a doctor tomorrow and ask to be prescribed Melatonin to try support maturity in my next egg collection (probably May this year) xx

Have a look at Ovum. It's the only supplement that has the recommended doses of supplements from It Starts With the Egg and I think it really helped my results in my last round (plus melatonin). Went from none suitable to transfer (from 6 embryos) to 2 euploid (from 6 embryos). Currently 5 weeks! My consultant said it was a really good supplement too.

Thanks I’ve just ordered ovum as looks brilliant. I’m currently prescribed 5mg folic acid. Should I stop this and only take the ovum do you think?

Also looked into melatonin and I can buy the gummies from America else I’ll need to ask my consult for a prescription (£250!)… are you in the uk? How did you obtain yours?

Thankyou xx

I'm not sure about your folic acid and wouldn't want to tell you to stop but my consultant said Ovum was fine for me so this is all I took.

My consultant also prescribed melatonin for me as he said there were some promising studies out there for over 40s (I'm 41). It wasn't too expensive. I'm in Manchester. He said it was only licensed for sleep issues in the UK so I'm not sure how he got round it but it was delivered to my by Stork with all my other meds.

Good luck 🤞

At what stage did you take melatonin? I took melatonin for three months and my doctor told me to stop.

I think it was only about 10 days (from starting stims to night before egg collection). I had great sleep those nights!

this is the ones I’ve switched to the past few months after a bit of research as they have the 600g (I’m over 40 so this is the recommended dose) and also has the ubiquinok in the most absorbable form and came recommended in a few IVF sites. Will see next month if they’ve made any difference! Xx
