Trying again after surgery

Hi, I've just had a laparoscopy to remove a cyst on my ovary and dense grade 3 endometriosis which was on my womb, ovaries, bladder, bowel and ligaments. But the doctors didn't tell me how long I need to wait before trying for a baby again.

Has anyone had any experience of this surgery and how long they waited to start trying again?

They told me that after a few weeks I can go about my normal activities but I'm assuming I need to wait longer before trying again but no one actually told me that.

Thanks

hi I had an endo cyst removed via laparoscopy & went on to continue IVF 2/3 months after that.

I did not have endo lesions removed though so not sure if it will be longer after what you have had done. The usual is around 3 months after surgery .

Hope you are recovering well X
