It just goes to show that you must never given up hope. 14 months of trying. Turmoil. Antibiotics. Hospital admissions. Surgery. Hydrosalpinx. Being told I would need IVF and now finally a positive test naturally!

I had my surgery only 8 weeks ago.

I know I have a long way to go to feel comfortable in this pregnancy but I didn’t think this would happen naturally to me and it has. I had fully given up hope!

Any other Hydrosalpinx ladies, do not give up. Our bodies are amazing!

Thank you for sharing your journey too. It has definitely given me strength to carry on with ttc naturally as was feeling a little all over the place today!

I know the feeling. I honestly had forced myself to accept that I wasn’t able to have any more children. This has completely shocked me! Good luck with your journey xx

Ah that’s brilliant! I had a hydrosalpinx too so had my left tube removed before we did ivf. Take it a day at a time and say to yourself ‘today I am pregnant ‘ every time you feel uneasy, helped me get through those early weeks xxxx

Congratulations, I have two hydrosalpinx and surgery I had a year ago to open them up resulted in scar tissue closing then up again, I'm now waiting to have both tubes removed, then into ivf, its a long old journey, I'm quite new to this forum but great to see there is light at the end of the tunnel x
