2nd trimester pain - fibroids?

Hello,

I have been experiencing heavy vaginal / uterine pain (from 4 up to 8 over 10) for the past 2-3 days. They started when I tried to do some of my usual back stretches, laying on my stomach without realizing how much belly I have now. I later drove for about 35 min and felt that the seated position aggravated things. I did get an echo yesterday and they said it is likely the 6-7 fibroids that have sprouted like mushrooms inside of me because of the injections. And that my placenta is a bit lower now but might back into place on its own.

I am just now starting the second trimester, with triplets (soon to be reduced to 2). The reduction will leave some space so hopefully less pain, but I wonder if there is anything else to be done, also as a prevention. I am getting a lot more gas (excuse me TMI). Paracetamol type of meds not helping much. Anti spasm meds helping a bit.

I am trying to keep warm and to reduce gas inducing beans and such and to avoid seated positions for a long time. Any other ideas? Or any other potential sources for the pain? Or something to help sleep through the night instead of the 3am waking up?

You were right. I went to the ER in the end and I had a urinary infection + a fibroids flare up 🙏
