Not sure I have any definite answers but I think just not thinking about it too much. I had five transfers with DD before success. I am still pregnant at the moment and hopefully will get all the way there this time. I had two miscarriages as well as a chemical with OE early on. I did have lots of tests (ERA, EMMA, Alice and a hysteroscopy) although they didn’t provide any real answers to what was going wrong. I’m older than you as well so if you can keep going, then do. I did take a few breaks after the miscarriage as I just needed some time away from the fertility journey, Hoping you get success with your next cycle. Xx
For the failed egg retrieval cycle I was on Norethisterone & Buserelin to down regulate. Then Ovaleap (dose of 375). I just didn't respond. The trigger shot would have been Ovitrelle. I am using UK donor Eggs and Danish Sperm.
It's such an anxious, stressful journey. Hopefully we can have a successful outcome one day. Xx
Hi Ros. I have 3 own egg boys who are older (13, 11 & 11). They were fresh transfers. I decided I wanted to try again as I never quite seemed done. I tried with my own eggs at 40/41 & fresh transfer wasn't successful. I moved on to DD embryos and had 2 unsuccessful medicated transfers and then moved to modified natural. First modified natural was an early loos at just over 5 weeks and the second is due in around 3.5 weeks. I was 46 when I had my final transfer & am 47 now and this has honestly been my easiest pregnancy in many ways. It definitely can happen and you may need to try medicated & natural to see what works best. I had tests done too & changed things up for my final cycle but if you have any questions feel free to DM me & I can let you have any info you need. Best of luck 👍
hiya I have been down the double donor path I swear by the era emma and Alice tests I had 5 transfers 2 negative and 2 chemical then the 5th one after changing to day 6 transfer instead of 5 it took xxx good luck xxx
