So, scan yesterday after patches and progynova and lining is 8.95mm, which the consultant seems quite ecstatic about. I start the crinone and lubion tomorrow night and they want me in the clinic by 11:30am on Monday for 12:00pm transfer. They said that they would do a progesterone blood test when I go in...seems a bit silly to leave it a bit late for progesterone bloods on the day of transfer, but what do I know....only that others have said that the progesterone levels need to be high BEFORE doing the transfer. I really do not want to lose two embryos for the sake of low progesterone levels. If I have to have intramuscular injections, there is no way my hubby would do them, he'd faint first!!
Any advice - greatly appreciated!

Hey yammie, that's great news that everything is going well. Sounds like your lining is perfect! Im having my progesterone levels checked on day of transfer this time too, this gives the clinic time to adjust your meds so dont worry about that part. If they need to top up it can have quite a dramatic effect very quickly.....hopefully all will be good on the day though! Best of luck, hope the defrost goes well and transfer of course!xx
Good luck!!!! Hopefully your progesterone will be enough as you’re on two different methods and like Cinderella said, if you need extra support, the effect is pretty much instant! If your husband wouldn’t do the injections you could ask someone else or go into the clinic if it’s not too far or a nurse at your gp surgery or ask for more pessaries instead? But hopefully you’ll be fine xxxxx
Thanks everyone, just nervous as 1st time doing transfer. I'm not going to obsess about 2WW because, as I have always said what will happen, will happen. 2 embryos hopefully will defrost. We will be going to London Monday and return home on Tuesday so as not to stress too much.
