Hi ladies,Looking for some advice please. 37yr old, 3rd failed transfer (donor sperm due to male infertility), latest was a CP. Have had immunology testing, hysteroscopy, left tube removal due to hydrosalpinx, ERA/EMMA/ALICE.. no red flags. No gynea history. Our clinic doesn't know where to go with us next, they don't seem to know why it isn't working. Any suggestions as to what direction to go to next? New clinic?
TIA x

You certainly have thrown everything into trying to achieve your dream Maybe take some time out - take care of yourself[pamper yourself] and your OH . Hope you have taken advantage of the counselling appointment that should of been offered to you ? If not it might be idea to try some counselling while taking time out
Thank you for your reply Janet. Oh I have done it all at this stage, counselling, reiki, reflexology, acupuncture.. found them all useful in their own way during this incredibly challenging journey.
Im so sorry you had an early loss 😢 they are worse than a negative on some ways I think! However a CP can indicate that the conditions for implantation were right but there was a wee issue with the embryo and it didnt go on so might be a case of keep on trying to get a good embryo (or you could PGTA test them if doing a fresh collection) or the other thing is your progesterone levels you might need to up that to help sustain the pregnancy. Whatever you do next be kind to yourself you’ve been through so much and tried a lot and sometimes it can be down to luck and Mother Nature 💜 xxx
Thanks for your email Twiglet2.. I had pre progesterone levels taken pre transfer, all was well within range. Doctor briefly mentioned PGTA but was less inclined due to my age. We are just a bit stuck as to where to go from here now.. It's a tough journey to navigate!
Sometimes we do just have to repeat the same thing again and hope for different results (definition of madness I know! 🤪) but this journey makes no sense at times! 💜 xx
Try and hang in there Babywish23 , it’s very common for 3-4 transfers before success. Are you on a short or long protocol? I know it’s frustrating, I remember that feeling well but it’s often down to the egg genetics and the right one will come up. Sounds like you have got all bases covered, so just got to keep going 🍀🍀Good luck 🍀🍀 xx
Thanks for the reply kitkat10.. We have done the long protocol .. It's such an emotionally draining journey, taking a little time out before we move forward again x
