I had an IVF fresh transfer yesterday, EC was 4 days prior.
But concerned as Sunday I developed a rash on my calf's, it's a rash I've had before and does seem to take a week or so to go away, I think it's after shaving legs then wearing trousers with a slight texture, like linen. Normally I would take antihistamines to take away the itchiness and help the rash go down but I remember reading about antihistamines could have an affect on implantation, I get that Google is evil at times and tells us lots of things to avoid but would rather be safe than left wondering. Does anyone know of any itch creams/other ways to help reduce the itchiness that would be safe?
I have tried aloe Vera and epimax. Currently sat with a tubular bandana and chilled gel eye masks on it to try cool it. starting to worry that having scratched it and it now looking very red that could cause some kind of reaction.
Thanks in advance

I have some recommendations from creams for excema etc (use emollients not creams your local pharmacy should be able to recommend one or aveeno is good) but personally for this if it’s a shaving rash I would leave it alone to heal now and see what happens I weirdly found aloe Vera (which I normally use to heal things) makes things like this worse when I’m on meds or was pregnant 🤷🏻♀️ sudocream will work on any bits you think might potentially go infectious but the best thing to do is not scratch it and dont shave for a while or use strong soaps on it 🤗 good luck with the TWW xx
The aloe Vera has took the initial itch out of it but almost feels like it's drying it out to the point of itchy again. I have some aveno so will try take. End up stratching it when asleep. Thank you so much for your reply, not just today but you always as you are super helpful.x
Hi Diane, thank you so much for this, have looked at the recommendations for cellulitis so will follow that and try my GP tomorrow if it's not improved.
The rash is something I've had a few times before and clears with antihistamines but avoiding them.
Hi, I popped into my hospital none emergency unit yesterday as couldn't get a GP appointment. It's just a reaction to something luckily so advised to do cold compress, but good shout on cellulitis. The nurse said it's not that but to keep an eye on it, luckily today it's feeling drier and less itchy so thanks again for your advise
