Hello everyone,So I've been testing early since my FET (I know, but I've had 4 BFPs on prior transfers from as early as 3dpt and by 5dpt it'salways been very obvious) and apart from some misguided excitement over indent lines and faulty tests, it's been pretty clear that I'm out. I also just got my HCG back from yesterday and it's <1, so can't see anything changing. Bit of a shock given I have always had BFPs even if ultimately 3 out of 4 ended early. I am feeling pretty deflated but also wondering what happened with my progesterone this time- it was 44 on transfer day so I upped to 2 lubions and an extra pessary and it's gone down to 37! How?... and why am I just not absorbing it? I did the same protocol as I did on my successful FET and am now wondering whether it was the pregnancy/ies and not the progesterone supplementation that actually caused the levels to rise each time. My levels are fine naturally. My lining also thickens naturally. So am wondering about doing a natural/non-medicated FET. But that'll be another £2k and I don't know how much more of this I can take tbh. Maybe it's just the hormones today but I feel so defeated and tired. Sorry for the rambling moan, no-one knows we're doing this or that we've struggled for nearly 10 years so you guys are my only outlet (thank you again btw) x
7dp5dt - progesterone levels have gon... - Fertility Network UK
7dp5dt - progesterone levels have gone down?! And BFN...
It will be a combination of the meds and the stress of treatment making you feel so down Just take things easy Best ask your clinic about the concerns you mention in your post Hope you get some replies to your post that might help you with your future treatment opinions
Take care

sorry to read this.
I would opt for an intramuscular injection if you are not absorbing it well. Mine has been over 100 on transfer day x
sorry to read that you are going through this.
Strange. My clinic never checks progesterone, does yours check by blood test?
I'm so sorry to hear that, sending you hugs xx
I think it’s the one the prontogest x
Yep, they have saved me an absolute fortune and a lot of stress over the years. They acknowledge that infertility is a medical issue, and also that we only get one funded round (and no frozen transfers) in our area so we're at a bit of a disadvantaged starting point.
