So after 7 embryo transfers, one miscarriage at 10 weeks and one at 6 weeks and 5 failed implantations I have begged my clinic to test my progesterone. They are saying it is not necessary as they don’t actually know what the optimal levels are. I have been prescribed lubion twice a day and cyclogest twice a day. Even with this progesterone I bleed very early sometimes, 4/5 days after transfer. Any advice would be much appreciated 💫

Progesterone levels 🙏🏼
I would ask to have provesterone oil injections. They are painful but so much more effective. I bled early too but had ny levels checked on transfer day or before and upped as necessry and was on a heap like you and had a successful cycle......but i would rather have been on 1 jnection that all that palaver.xx
Thank you so much so just provesterone and not the lubion and cyclogest?
I can’t understand why they won’t just check my levels. I’m a private patient and have offered to pay for as many tests. It there an optimal level you progesterone should be? Xxx
Oooh that is pretty shitty! Surely if youre paying they have to do it? I was always told it should be over 60nmol/l as a minimum on transfer day. Progesterone oil injections are the beat but they are intramuscular and sore in your bum....Im sure you can more than handle that after everything so far....ooh and Im sure it will be cheaper.xxx
I really appreciate this info. I’m going to get on the phone tomorrow and ask again or see if I can get it done at my doctors. So, so frustrating. Consultant just kept repeating ‘we never do that!’ I was like okay I understand what your saying but….why the hell not! I’ll also ask about the progesterone oil- haha o could totally handle a pain in my bun after the shit I’ve put myself through 💪🏼💪🏼🙈 xxx
