Does Utrogestan stop your period?

Hi,

I am currently on day 8 post FET. My period was due yesterday and still no sign of it but I'm not due to do a pregnancy test for another 3 days. I'm currently taking 3 utrogestan pessaries a day and I'm just wondering will this stop my period or is a late period a sign a my transfer could of worked?

Yes progesterone delays your period. Only real way to know is to test. I'm currently in the same boat!

Ah ok. I didn't know that. I decided to take a test and it was sadly negative. I'll test again in a couple of days to check since I am a bit early but not looking good. 😔

I'm sorry to hear that. If it wasn't your first wee of the day it could be too diluted to pick up the hcg 🤞

As previous post says wait a couple of days and repeat the test Meantime keep taking meds as directed
