No period after stop Norethisterone

I was on Norethisterone for 14 days and supposed to have a "heavy and painful period" before my baseline scan. That did not happen. Tomorrow is my scan and I had no period at all.

Does anyone knows what does that mean? Am I going to be able to start the injections?

How long has it been since you stopped taking the norethisterone? It took a few days after I stopped taking it before my period came. xxx

My last one was on Wednesday, so today is my 4th day without it.

Every little thing is making me so nervous.

I think my doctor said it could take up to 10 days after stopping for your period to come so hopefully it will arrive soon. It never seems to show up when you want it too! xxx

I was taking it so that I could start Clomid. With that I had to wait for my period. Not sure about injections.

On my 1st round of IVF my period never came at all after it.. but at baseline my lining was fine so cycle went a head as normal xc

U will ave bloods on baseline and they can tell then if period will shpw its face or not

Hi bbhope I noticed ur post is from a couple of months ago but I am in the exact same place as u at the moment, I am on day 3 after stopping norithsterone and scan is tomorrow. Can u advise what happened with you?

Hi Kirsty! My scan still went ahead and yes my period arrived the nite after the scan 🙈 think it just likes to make us worry! I was able to do everything on plan that was arranged! If it doesn’t show before the date of starting stims it will just be adjusted so don’t worry. Xx

Hi 💝 I am exactly in this position at the moment and just wondered what happened??? My scan is this Friday and still no period and I don’t feel any signs or symptoms that it’s coming 😔 xxx

Mine was over a week later than it should have been, I guess Norethisterone doesn’t always work as planned. They just scanned me and took bloods and said not to worry as my period was just about to start. I’d say don’t worry, but I did. It arrived the day after the scan x

Can someone help me... I took Norethisterone for 3 days only to delay my period by 2 days for a holiday and its been 9 days now since I stopped and still no period... What do i do?
