Progesterone

Hi all lovely ladies,

I have had 5 egg collections 5 bleeds during the TWW, first three collections I’ve had pessary only. Where I bled day 7-8, then the next two collections I had a bleed day 10 this is with pessary and lubion injections. Thoughts?

All 5 fresh transfers nothing to freeze and the ERA was cancelled last round. Four BFN and a possible chemical.

I have my post April collection consultation in August. Last round I was on steroids, clexane, p.pessary and lubion.

Apart from asking about my progesterone levels, should the blood test be performed during collection or how many days before transfer ?

Hopefully have an ERA next round.

Any other suggestions…

Hi lovely,

Sorry to hear about your transfers so far.

I always ended up on 3 x pessaries and 2 x lubion a day as I always bled early - so they could up it next time.

I also had the ERA which did show I needed an extra 24 hours of progesterone before transfer.

Good luck x

Hi Millbanks,

Thanks for replying yes I was thinking up it up or using from what ive read somewhere intramuscular progesterone.

I really do want the ERA just to understand my endometrium a little more.

Thank you xx

Hi

I have bled twice on day 7, first was positive but miss carried after 6-7 weeks. But continued to have a bleed just once every week after the 7 days practically! The second was negative, after my last follow up, he couldn’t give me any answers to this.

This has contributed to me now changing clinic tbh as just feels like same will happen again and i just feel it’s stopping it from being successful and my body is trying to get rid of it 😢 Not heard of ERA, but will look into it now, thank you.

Just wanted to wish you luck and if you find any answers and something that works for you, please message me, it would be so greatly appreciated.

Thank you and good luck again xx

Hi Katxx, from what little information I have gathered the progesterone should stop the bleed whilst you taking it. Bleeeding should only commence once you’re off progesterone. What h has me thinking I may be low on progesterone.

And the ERA looks at the endometrial lining and the best time to transfer the embryo and how much progesterone I would need also if I have good or bad bacteria.

I hope this helps and good luck on your journey lovely xxx
