progynova prior IVF

hello!

my doctor put on progynova 2 tablets x 3 times a day. I’m worrying that is way too much (12mg a day) my lining went from 2mm to 7mm . I took it for 21 days then 7 days of progestin, I just restarted progynova but this time the doctor said to take it for 8 weeks. Is it too much? Do you think that I can ask to lower the dosage? I’m feeling tired, weird and my lower back is killing me!

I was on progynova 12mg for all of my rounds of ivf I can’t remember the number of weeks I was on it for but a good few xxx

I am also on 12mg a day of progynova. My doctor says if I get pregnant, will need to take till week 10 I think. You can clarify with doctor the reason to continue for 8 weeks.

On my first round I was on x2 and then second round x3 I asked him why he increased it and he said he had a few women who ovulated with just 2 and generally 3 was the standard, so he decides to go back to 3. Hope that helps. Good luck on your journey xxx
