hi, just gave into temptation and did a home pregnancy test, this is our last chance to give our DD a sibling. Had 2 BFN last year. Took time and decided to have one last try with our remaining embryo. I’m now 10 days post transfer (5day blastocyst), I feel absolutely awful! Head is so light and stomach nauseous. I had ovritelle injection last Sunday and what I think was implantation spotting on Wednesday. I have just done a test…ok I did 3. Now I’m scared to hope in case ovritelle has given a false positive. Does anyone know how long it stays in your system? Much love to all!

hey! I’m not 100% sure but I thought it only stayed on your system for 3-5 working days! Even if it was 10 days they look like strong lines to be the remainder of the shot! X 🤞
thank you so much! I think after having BFN im scared to believe it finally worked! X
I’m sure trigger would’ve left your system now. They look like positives to me! Perhaps wait 2 days and do it with FMU to see line progression. Congrats and good luck xx
thank you so much for your reply. I tested again this morning and it came up straight away. Pinching myself! X
congrats! It’s about 7-10 days to leave your system 14 maximum so it could still be the trigger but I don’t think these tests are so sensitive to be picking it up like that so long ago so I’d say looking good 💜🤗 xx
Thank you so much for replying! Starting to get excited! X
Hi! I've been told by my ivf clinic that it takes 10 days for it to leave your system, I would highly recommend testing again in 3 days, I wish you the best of luck
thank you for replying, im being very cautious, tested first thing this morning 13pt (9 days after ovritelle) and it’s come up straight away. Going to wait for bloods to confirm tho! Such a rollercoaster! X
hi hope you don’t mind me asking how you got on ? I’m in the same boat this morning 🫠 had a strong positive but a bit wary xx
not at all! I’m still in shock to be honest. My HCG ended up 1206 when tested 14dpt so I am well and truly pregnant. We had an early scan last week and peanuts little heart was beating away. Still only 8 weeks and I think it’s normal after so many failures to be cautious but I’m beginning to believe it’s actually happening.
I really hope you get the same result! The whole process is absolute torture but it will be worth it when we hold our little babies! Wishing you all the luck in the world and sending positive vibes! Xx
Stay positive! I know when I tested 7dpt during failed attempts there was no ambiguity and was def negative so I would be positive but wait for HCG to confirm! It’s so hard waiting tho! Xx
when was your trigger? How many days before transfer? I had ovidrel trigger 7 days before 5day embryo transfer and by 3 days after transfer it was gone (doctor said it stays up to 10 days circulating). I tested super light positive 5 days after transfer (on day 4 I saw some shadow but not sure it looked pink) and thought that it might be trigger still, but next day was darker line so it wasn’t trigger. If you had trigger like me (6,7 days before transfer) I’d go and say this is your BFP. I’d retest tomorrow just to be sure 😉 check my picture it’s day 4-8 after transfer (and your lines are way darker). I’m 6weeks today and in Monday I have first ultrasound 🤞🏻😍

hahaha I just saw that this was old post! Congrats to you and wish you easy pregnancy ☺️☺️☺️
This is so helpful for me ! I had same dose of triggers as you & in the pic is 7dp5dt .. line came up super quick 🙏🏽
I’m glad it was helpful to someone! 🤗Trigger is usually out even before 10 days, but supposedly it can linger in circulation up to 10 days. If line is getting stronger then it’s not trigger for sure ☺️
it’s just staying the same … first respond 8dpt line xx
first response is better test. Anyhow trigger is out of your system by now so it’s not that surely. I did only one first response, 9days post transfer (day of expected period) and stopped testing after that I had OTD 14 days after transfer (blood) and then 16 (to see increase of beta) and now I’m waiting for first ultrasound next Monday (so excited). So, just relax, be kind to yourself and good luck 🤗
