Please could you share your success stories of a fresh transfer of one or two early blastocysts at day 5. I have not written much on here because of all my anxiety surrounding this new cycle. Trying to stay positive.
After retrieving 12 eggs, 8 fertilised normally and I had 4 embryos at day 3 that were looking good including a top grade 8 cell embryo and a 6 cell embryo that already starting to compact. Today on the day of my transfer (day 5) I was told that I only had 2 early blastocysts. They were both transferred albeit with a lecture about the risks of multiples etc.
I really need to read some of your success stories. I also need positive vibes and thoughts. You can DM me or reply here.
I'm 42, with good amh and good hormone profile.
My first and only child died at full-term, he was stillborn 2 days before his due date after a non-conplicated pregnancy during the pandemic in 2020. This is my 4th transfer.
I had success with 2 blastocysts which were transferred in a FET after being frozen on day 6. If I had transferred fresh they would have been early blastocysts on day 5. I was 41 at collection. They both implanted but only one went forward - my 22 month old daughter.
If the clinicians were warning you of multiples than they must have confidence in at least one implanting.
Hoping this is your time, your stats look decent 😀 xx
Thank you. I had my day 6 update and ofc I knew the others would stop dividing. They confirmed the 6 cell and 8 cells were the two that turned to early blasts, one was already starting to expand. EB1 and EB2/3. Not official grades. Would you say my 1dpt starts today assuming they both turned full blastocyst yesterday (transfer Wednesday day 5).
I just always count the day after transfer as day 1 and expect that if they were early blasts it would take longer for a positive test. Good luck🤞Really hoping this works for you, especially after heartbreaking loss xx
