I had an embryo transfer on Thursday with our first donor egg embryo. It was a 5AA 🌟
We never achieved such a top quality embryo with my own eggs so this is really exciting 🙌
We had success with an average grade embryo in 2018 who is my 2.5yr old gorgeous daughter 🥰. But multiple failed rounds since.
I’m now day 2 post5dt and all the doubts are creeping in. And obviously too much googling already 🤦♀️🙄. I’ve read that there’s a good chance of success with a 5AA but when I’ve looked for positive stories all I read is ladies posting about failed transfers with 5AAs 😢.
Positive stories would be very much appreciated. Need to keep a positive mindset as the negativity is exhausting 😴

Matched via Altrui (a UK agency) and then used a south London clinic (DM and I’ll give its name).
We did a fresh donor cycle. Got 19 eggs, 17 mature and 15 fertilised. All made it to day 5 and they froze 9. The other 6 weren’t deemed good enough to freeze x
Ahhh amazing news!! Huge congratulations my lovely ❤️❤️❤️Ugh the wait for the scan is hard, but just keep telling yourself there is no reason for anything to be wrong. We have our 13 week scan on Thursday and I'm worried all over again! xx
I got no advice either as I never knew the grading of our embryo 🥰 Just wanted to send you some positivity - nothing you can control sadly, but have faith! Believe it will happen- I know that is so much easier said than done - and so scary to let yourself believe as deep down you want to protect yourself! The chances of it working are as best as they can be! Science done it’s part, now to trust nature! Tell yourself something positive every morning - does not have to do with your transfer! But something about yourself - “I am strong” “I am healthy” “I am a good person” etc 🥰
Just wanted to wish you all the best!! Be thinking of you!! 🤞🤞
Thank you ☺️. You’re very wise 😘. And right! I’m very scared to hope too much. So scared of it failing. But this is definitely the best chance we’ve had for a long time. Will keep those positive affirmations going 💪 xx
Aw, I am so happy for you JenRoy ! Congratulations! I know the waiting for every milestone is hard, but you got this. Wishing you all the best with your pregnancy 🥰
I’m 2dp5dt aswell but with a 5bb! I’ve heard lots of positive stories here with AA BB and even C grade embryos, so try not to worry too much x wishing you all the luck and baby dust x
Our clinic uses a different grading system but we transferred 2x day top grade donor egg embryos last year and now have twins. Good luck (and stay away from Google). X
Good luck to you!I'm transferring my donor embryos grade 6AB and 3AA in a few days. I'm trying not to stress about the grade. They say stress is the one thing you should avoid. Fingers crossed 🤞
Awh sounds very promising JenRoy! I’ll keep everything crossed for you 🤞🏻 We used donor eggs too and now have a 5 month old son. Did you transfer one or two? Xx 😘
Congratulations jengi. I remember the arrival of your little one. So glad you achieved your dream ☺️. We transferred one as we really would rather not have twins. But I’d definitely consider a double transfer in the future. Just hoping this is it 🤞
