Back Again - Advice Needed - First Resloved/Secondary Infertility

Hello πŸ‘‹ I hope all you wonderful people are keeping well as can be with this journey. I'm back again!

A little about my story. We tried for 3 years to get pregnant but we were not successful, then diagnosed with unexplained fertility but at the start my husband had a morphology of 0.5% which made it to 4% with supplements, diet and exercise and a 4st weight loss on my behalf. A month before we were due to start our free round of IVF we found out we were pregnant with our now 3 year old little girl called Hope. We haven't stopped trying since she was 2 months old because of how long she took. We feel so lucky we got a miracle but as humans we always want more for ourselves and our family's.

A month ago I had PID, a Tubal Abscess, a fluid filled tube, was in hospital for a while. I was advised that there could be damage to my tube and sent on my way by the hospital despite them knowing we were trying. I've gained alot of weight since I had daughter contentment does that to you. I know I've need to lose the weight for long time but this has been the kick up the backside I've needed and really think it made the difference last time. I phoned the doctors, I'm just waiting on Gynaecology to do some tests and my husband on a semen analysis this is being done slowly on the NHS just to save us some money.

I'm here to ask how much does the average cost of one round of IVF cost in the UK to abroad. Just looking into just in case my tube is blocked and don't want to get my hopes up if we can't afford it?!

I know I should be happy with what I have as other people would love to be in my position. I just can't settle.

Any vitamins etc to take differently to before?

Thanks any advice welcome πŸ™. I hope and wish happiness for all our journeys.

I think ot various bit i would say approx Β£6000 for one round. Hoeever no harm in calling some clinics local to you to enquire! Good luck.

Agree that it would be around Β£6k for a single round including drugs. I found quite a variation in prices in rounds from different London clinics but found the best option for me was a 3 cycle package with a refund option. This took the pressure off a bit. I paid Β£10k for a 3 cycle package (excluding medication) with the option to have a refund if you had success on the 1st or 2nd round. Due to my low AMH my medication was around Β£2k a round which is at the top end of what most would pay I presume.

Sending you lots of luck. xx
