Im stressing out abit as I’ve been taking oestrogen tablets as instructed for my FET and somehow on my scan today there was a dominant follicle! They took my bloods and said it may be cancelled depending on what was going on with the follicle. I rang for the blood results and they were positive about it and said I will ovulate tomorrow so I can have my FET on Friday as this will be perfect timing. But I’m just feeling really worried about it now as whether the conditions will really be ideal for my embryo and I don’t want to waste an embryo - since I wasn’t actually meant to ovulate 😔
I don’t know if I’m just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or anyone might know about it !! Thanks everyone in advance

Didn’t want to read and then scarper. What has your clinic said. I haven’t been in your position so I don’t know what to suggest. Are they able to salvage the situation and convert to a natural FET instead. All the best x
My FET is now booked for friday and at the time they said it’s all perfect timing with the ovulation but it was all abit of a blur what they said so I think I’m going to ring tomorrow to make sure it is all okay - I think I just started to really worry as I was definitely not meant to ovulate on this protocol which then made me think well maybe it’s not optimal conditions now that I have ?!
thanks for your reply. I took 6mg of oestrogen for one week then 8mg for another week then a scan to check lining where it turned out i had a follicle
I don’t really know why I’m on this protocol I have pretty regular cycles but I just followed the clinics advice …
I’ll ring them today just to make sure it is all still ok for transfer. I guess they’ve just converted me to a natural cycle as they caught the ovulation but then I don’t know if it’s been detrimental me taking all that oestrogen. I don’t really understand it and nothing really gets explained too much.
You have been requested to take Oestrogrn tablets because they are meant to replace your normal hormones and so they can control it better. Oestrogen is necessary to have a successful outcome , however, I am not a doctor this is purely my life experience on this journey. Oestrogen also suppress your natural hormones and consequently suppresses your ovaries to produce a follicle, but, our bodies can still ignore it and still happens to produce anyway. It did happen to me and my cycle got cancelled. My clinic did not risk it.
I would suggest for you discuss it better with your clinic professionals.
When taking oestrogen make sure you take it at same time every day as it can be sensitive.
On my last FET I received a positive test. Keep your hopes alive !
