Hi ladies due to start an FET natural cycle shortly. Ovulate on my own with a regular cycle. I know progesterone support is common to help the embryo implant but is progynova always needed. I didn't have it when i had FET for my son but curious if sometimes used and why? thank you x

Hi, mine is planned for next cycle and I was supposed to have absolutely nothing but argued the case for progesterone When the time comes which they have caved for so does seem a little odd but It seems clinics vary massively in what they do. Good luck! I’m losing the plot waiting for AF so I can start mine, usually very regulAr but OHSS has really messed things up. X

Aw good luck too Goldie24. I waited about 3 weeks after egg retrieval for a bleed which was a bit earlier then i did my FET transfer LH surge + 6. I am planning a very early january transfer as don't think i want the stress in a Christmas cycle. xx

I had a withdrawal bleed 2 weeks after but that was 6 weeks ago and no sign of anything 🤦🏼‍♀️ Completely understand what you mean about a xmas cycle and my family would rather I wait until then too, I think it scared them with me being in hospital for long but I’m just at a point where everything has take. So long (started drugs in May) that I need some kind of end to this cycle now. Best of luck with yours too! X

Hi sunset, I was offered natural FET also with no progynova and Cyclogest and use of OPKs to predict ovulation for transfer. The consultant said that the outcome for a medicated compared to natural FET were very similar. Good luck with your FET. Xx

Thank you yes i am hoping for this one again i won't need progynova as my lining builds to an ok level of around 9mm on its own. xx
