My story so far-So after my egg retrieval I had to get both tubes removed because of hydrosalpinx. Had to wait for two bleeds before starting FET. Transfer day was yesterday the 29th of March. I had two 5d embryos transferred. Because I'm over 40 the doctor suggested two. I have had backpain since day 10 of estrofem but it seems to have stopped since yesterday. Today I just had this rush of nausea and I'm guessing it's the meds I'm still on 8mg of estrofem and 400mg of utrogestan a day. I know it's way too early to even look for symptoms but I guess the mind won't stop. All the best to the ladies currently in this tww. It's such torture 😫

This will be a stressful time so try to keep yourself busy during the 2WW Re read your favourite book - watch old films - go for nice walk and look for signs of spring Eat healthy and drink plenty of fluids Take any meds you have been given as directed There is an webinar on fertilitynetworkuk.org on Monday 3rd April "What you need to know about the Two Week Wait that might be helpful

Good luck for the future

AuroraXen your journey is nothing but inspiring🥺. I'm so happy you finally got your BFP and that you have come this far. Thank you so much for the kind words. I will be strong and wait it out. All the best with your final weeks. This has to be your time 🤞

That's so lovely of you, thank you. It's definitely been a bit of a rocky ride 😆 I'm starting to finally feel like this might all be ok, that we will get there... 🙏 Bloody infertility definitely steals a lot of the joy, sadly, and I'm still a bit of a nervous wreck some days, but they're outweighed more and more by the positive days. Thank you for your lovely words xx

Wishing you lots of luck. TWW is torture but you will get through it. I always suggest limit yourself to one Google search a day so you don't spend all the time symptom spotting and driving yourself crazy and try to get out if you can as being stuck in also makes it harder imo. All the best 🤞 xx

Thanks HollieW. My husband is threatening to take away all my gadgets lol. But your suggestion is more workable. I will try and limit my searches to once a day. Hopefully that will keep me sane. I go back to work on Monday so that will keep me very busy. 🤞

hey dear, I ‘m on the same boat. I had embryo transfer on Sunday and I’m on 400mg cyclogest pessary. I am also 40, but I only had one embryo. This 2 weeks wait is the longest 2 weeks 😂. Good luck to you and all the ladies on here.

Bloody hell you’ve been through the mill, I’m so sorry. I had a tube and part of an ovary taken when I had my first FET due to an ectopic so I kind of have an idea of how you might be feeling. The kind of things this journey throws at you just aren’t in the brochure are they! X

Not even! But this platform has taught me that anything can happen! And also it has given me so much inspiration and the strength to go on. The things women on this platform have gone through and continue to go through all in the hope of holding that miracle 🙏

I had a FET on the 28th, I’m 40 now. I feel nauseous and have upper back pain 🤷🏽‍♀️. 6th time round, trying not to over think it. So much is the medication. I hate the TWW I find it so hard! Good luck to everyone else going through it now 😬🤞🏼

good luck!

I had nausea really early after my FET transfer of 2 embryos and had a BFP after 4 rounds and 4 failed transfers! I’d never had that before in other cycles.

It’s best not to symptom spot too much but if you notice anything different to the failed cycles then it may be a good sign!

Fingers crossed keep us updated!
