Must again thank everyone for the kind and supportive messages yesterday.
Out of my two eggs collected yesterday, one has fertilised and apparently the other still might. If all still ok, will have the transfer tomorrow. Embriologist said if the other egg does fertilise they will transfer both. Which surprised me a little because they have always said they prefer to do single embryo transfers. Do you think it's because i only had two collected? Or could it be that they can already see their poor quality?
I know I'm overthinking and it doesn't really make a difference. I'm just relieved it was a positive phone call this morning. So I should just hold on to the positives when i get them.
Whole knew experience this, normally when stressed or in pain I've got Gin or Pinot Grigio to turn to. But this time it's impryl and water. X

That's great! Many congrats and good luck. A step very much in the right direction! Much love x
Great news! I have always had multiple transfers - I think if you only have a couple and they are unlikely to make day 5 they might as well put them both back in! Masses of luck! x
Congrats to you! Waiting for those calls is the worst! But you have one - praying for that second one to fertilise first you! Also where do you get impryl?x
Are you private or NHS? I wish I had taken it actually but I found out about it the day before my EC. Also I wondered if it helped people with endometriosis too. X
We're private. It is our first time so hard to know if it's made a difference or not, we've both been taking it for 6 months. I have endo and low amh, consultant said it could possibly help with egg quality. However, it was mainly recommended for my partner as he has a low sperm count and poor motility. Although he had his 3rd sperm analysis after 5 months of taking impryl and his results were as poor as ever. But...tomorrow is transfer day so maybe it did help. X
Yeyyy for that little magical egg!! Hoping the other catches up, best of luck for transfer. Try not to read too much into transferring both, better in mum than a petri dish.xx
Congrats on getting to this stage. I think them transferring two must be a numbers thing. With only 2, they might not want to risk any dropping off before day 5, so safer to just transfer both of them. Having a gin or wine between egg collection and transfer shouldn't make much of a difference btw (caveat: I'm not a medical professional). Your body isn't working at making the eggs or harbouring the precious embryos at this stage... xxxx
Lovely news. Hope you have your embie on board soon where he/she belongs xxx
That's really wonderful news, congratualtions. I had a multiple transfer, I was also told grading/quality only refers to how pretty it looks so not to worry too much about that after it's fertilised. I am so pleased you gt to have your transfer, exciting times and lovely to know you have done your part now xx
